2015 was a tumultuous year: health epidemics, conflicts in the Middle East, mass migration, and other security issues made headlines. Which security threats do Europeans think will have the biggest impact over the next 10 years?

3 out of 4 Europeans saw terrorism as the security threat that will have the biggest impact. Perhaps this is not surprising, as the survey was conducted in March and April 2016, soon after the Brussels attacks. After terrorism, Europeans ranked migration (45%) and an economic crisis (45%) as the security threats that will have the biggest impact in the next 10 years.
